Our Pedal Rental Program provides artists and educational institutions access to a range of Lyon & Healy pedal harps.

Pedal Harp Rental Process

1. Approval: Send us a valid ID and a voided check with a matching name and address to start the process.
2. Agreement: We will send the Lyon & Healy Pedal Rental Agreement & Declaration of Value via Adobe Docusign with the agreed upon prices, terms, and policies.
3. Payment: We will send you a secure invoice where you can make your payment based on the agreed upon payment terms.
4. Fulfillment: We will prepare and release your harp for shipping or customer-pick up. We will notify you and provide all tracking information or pick-up instructions via email.

All harps in Lyon & Healy’s rental pool meet our stringent quality standards. Payment is required to be fulfilled within the contract terms. Approval and contract are required. The Rental Program is available in the continental U.S. only. Other conditions may apply.

Educational Institution Rentals

Educational institution rentals are ideal for many kinds of organization, term lengths, and for (almost) any purpose. Educational rentals are billed on a monthly basis. See some examples of eligible educational institutions who rent with us:

***Please note: if you are a student/parent; you must rent through the Institution to be eligible for this program. The institutional contact and renter name must be on the contract. Billing must happen through the billing office of the educational institution.

Artist & Event Rentals

Artist and event rentals are ideal for shorter terms and one-off uses. Lyon & Healy maintains a variety of high-quality professional pedal harps available for rental and can accommodate artist requests. Artist and event rentals are billed on a weekly basis. All specific requests will be fulfilled based on availability. These rentals also apply to non-educational institutions.

We are unable to facilitate rentals for weddings, corporate events, or individuals seeking long-term pedal harp rentals.

Pedal Harp Rental FAQ’s

How long is my rental term?

The rental term will vary based on your needs and harp availability. Any agreed upon terms will be stated and signed off on within your contract by the renter and the Rental Program Coordinator.

What’s included with my harp rental? Are there any add-ons?

Every rental harp comes with a tuning key and a dust cover. Accessories such as transport cover sets, harp dollies, travel benches, and extra string sets are available for rental upon request.

What is the billing process?

The billing process will vary based on your needs and payment protocols. Any agreed upon terms will be stated and signed off on within your contract by the renter and the Rental Program Coordinator.

At the end of my rental term, what are my options?

1. Purchase your Rental Harp – ask the Rental Program Coordinator to see if your harp is eligible for purchase.
2. Renew your Rental Agreement – process a new rental agreement to reflect the up-to-date changes, prices, and terms and conditions.
3. Return your Rental Harp – we will coordinate a rental pickup with our logistics partner or work with you to coordinate a rental drop-off at our Chicago location.

If I experience any string breakage during my rental term, will Lyon & Healy be able to supply strings?

We commit to sending warranty rental strings within the first two weeks of your rental term. After this period, the best and the fastest way to obtain strings is through Harp.com‘s string selector!

If I want to purchase my rental harp, will my rental credit be applied towards my purchase?

This will depend entirely on your agreed upon contract terms, but no rental credit is applied towards a rental pedal harp purchase unless stated otherwise.

Are there financing options available for purchasing my rental harp?

Financing is only available for the purchase of new lever and pedal harps. Ask the Rental Program Coordinator for more information.

Do you rent lever harps, too?

Yes, we do! We have several Lyon & Healy and Salvi Lever harps available to rent all across the US. Visit our Lever Harp Rental program website to learn more.
