Shipping Costs

To get a better sense of your shipping charges, please see the price range based on your region. The range is based on the size of the lever harp you choose to rent.

Harps arrive approximately 10-14 days after payment is made, depending on a variety of factors.

You also have the option to pick up your harp at our factory location in Chicago, Illinois.

Please note, these are the same prices for OUTBOUND and INBOUND (return) shipping. Renter is responsible for all associated shipping expenses. The prices listed above are subject to applicable taxes.

Lever Harp Rental Process

1. Approval: Send us a valid ID and a voided check with a matching name and address to start the process.
2. Agreement:  We will send the Lyon & Healy Rental Agreement via Adobe DocuSign with the most updated prices, terms, and policies.
3. Payment: We will send you a secure payment portal where you can make your first initial payment (first month’s rental fee, a new contract fee and shipping fee).
4. Fulfillment: We will prepare and release your harp for shipping or customer-pick up. We will notify you and provide all tracking information or pick-up instructions via email.

All harps in Lyon & Healy’s rental pool meet our stringent quality standards. The first month’s rental fee and non-refundable contract fee are required in advance. Monthly rental fees must be paid to Lyon & Healy via ACH debits. Approval and contract are required. The Rental Program is available in the continental U.S. only. Other conditions may apply.

Lever Harp Rental FAQ’s

How long is my rental term?

The rental term is a maximum of 24 months, commencing when the harp is dedicated to you with payment. Rental prices are guaranteed for 24 months. Please note, you are not fixed to any term length; you can rent as long or as little as you want!

What’s included with my harp rental? Are there any add-ons?

Every rental harp comes with a tuning key and a dust cover. Add-ons such as 4″ and 8″ legs are available for some harps based on availability, and transport covers are available for purchase for any harp.

What is the billing process?

After your first initial payment, you will be automatically billed monthly via ACH Domestic Transfer with the banking information you provide on the rental contract. If you secure your harp between the 1st and the 15th of the month, your initial payment will be applied to that same month, and the next charge will occur the following month. If you secure your harp between the 16th and the 31st of the month, your initial payment will be applied to the next month, and the next charge will occur in the subsequent month.

Example:

Harp secured on or before September 14th, Initial Payment is applied in September, the following charge will appear in October.

Harp secured on September 25th, Initial Payment is applied in October, the following charge will appear in November.

At the end of my rental term, what are my options?

1. Purchase your Rental Harp – receive a sales quotation for your current harp with any discounts and credits applied. You are able to purchase your harp at any time.
2. Renew your Rental Agreement – process a new rental agreement to reflect the up-to-date changes, prices, and terms and conditions.
3. Return your Rental Harp – we will coordinate a rental pickup with our logistics partner or work with you to coordinate a rental drop-off at our Chicago location.

If I experience any string breakage during my rental term, will Lyon & Healy be able to supply strings?

We commit to sending warranty rental strings within the first two weeks of your rental term.

After this period, the best and the fastest way to obtain strings is through Harp.com‘s string selector!

If I want to purchase my rental harp, will my rental credit be applied towards my purchase? Is it eligible for trade-in?

The first 6 months of rental credit will be applied towards your purchase on a per-contract basis (24 months). This means that if you initiate two contracts, you can get up to one year of rental credit applied. Rental credit can be applied towards the purchase of a new harp. Any additional discounts will be calculated into your buyout price. Rental harps are not eligible for trade-in programs.

Are there financing options available for purchasing my rental harp?

Financing is only available for the purchase of new lever or pedal harps. Conditions may apply.

Do you rent pedal harps, too?

Yes, we do, however, we only rent pedal harps on short term contracts to Educational Institutions (Schools, Universities, Colleges, Non-Profits in Education) or for Artists/Events. Please reach out to the Program Coordinator for more information on pricing or visit our Pedal Rental website.
