Lyon & Healy Harps appoints Janet Harrell as Chief Executive Officer

Lyon & Healy Harps is pleased to announce that it has appointed Janet Harrell as Chief Executive Officer.

Janet returns to Lyon & Healy where, from 1984 to 1999, she served as Controller, Vice President and ultimately for ten years, President. She has spent the last fifteen years as Vice President of Finance and Operations at a custom architectural millwork firm.

“Janet is a rarity with her combined experience in woodworking and finance,” said Marco Salvi, President of Lyon & Healy Harps and Salvi Harps. “We are thrilled to have her return to Lyon & Healy to manage operations and strengthen our focus on quality harpmaking.”

“I am excited to return to the harp world, I have always been so impressed by the dedication and artistry of harpists,” said Harrell. “I will lead the similar passion that we at Lyon & Healy have for the harp into a new chapter of growth.”

Janet earned her bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting at the University of Dayton. Originally from Pittsburgh, she lives in the Chicagoland area with her husband and is mother to four adult children.
