Musica Callada
The magical music of the Spanish composer Federico Mompou forms the base of a search for sound and silence.  After master pianist Arcadi Volodos rekindled interest for this Catalan sound poet by recording a wide range of his work in 2013, Remy van Kesteren now has transcribed Mompou’s music for the harp.  Next year Remy will give an extensive tour with the Musica Callada program; during his recital he will give an exclusive preview, including other composers and some of his own compositions.

Chicago has an array of services available for local transportation. Taxis area easily accessible near The Murphy Auditorium, and can be available from Lyon & Healy Harps with a reservation. Chicago's CTA train (the "L") and buses can be used to easily access venues and Loop/Downtown hotels. The city offers a three-day CTA pass that will be most convenient for Series registrants.Venue

Because Lyon & Healy incurs certain expenses prior to the Series, it is necessary to impose the following cancellation policy:

● For cancellations received on or before June 1, 2015, Lyon & Healy will refund 50% of the total registration fee.
● No refunds of any kind will be given for cancellation requests received after June 1, 2015.
● All cancellations must be sent in writing to hall@lyonhealy.com with subject line "Cancellation".
● No-shows are liable for the entire Series fee.
